ARKRAY, Inc. announces partnership with scil animal care company for the SPOTCHEM™ EZ Analyzer
Minneapolis, MN, December 1, 2009- ARKRAY, Inc., a global leader of human and veterinary in vitro diagnostic instruments and reagents today announced an exclusive distribution agreement with scil animal care company for the SPOTCHEM™ EZ Chemistry Analyzer. Scil is a global organization focused on providing high quality veterinary diagnostic equipment.
Scil’s first order of business will be to re-introduce the SPOTCHEM™ EZ, a small bench top chemistry analyzer, to the North American veterinary industry. Other veterinary-use products from ARKRAY will follow.
More than 8,500 SPOTCHEM™EZ Chemistry Analyzers have been sold globally since 2000. The SPOTCHEM™EZ is a compact, bench-top analyzer that enables easy, on-the-spot testing at veterinary clinics of various sizes. The analyzer can run a panel, a single test, or a combination so veterinarians can test the way they need to without wasting unnecessary tests. The system accepts whole blood or serum samples and has a built-in centrifuge. Results are available within 8 to 15 minutes to facilitate quick diagnosis and treatment.
