ESR Systems are a widely used screening test for determining the presence of clinical illness. ARKRAY's precision oriented Dispette branded system is considered the manual standard, authenticated by the Westergren tube stamp. No other system meets defined NCCLS/ICSH guidelines designed to maintain consistency of patient care. Specialized systems are also available for pediatric applications, or when blood volume is at a premium.

Features:

Dispette
This Westergren standard pipette offers a triple plugged pipette tube and transparent reservoir allowing for additional protection against accidental overfilling and overflow. Conforms with NCCLS guidelines for ESR testing (when used with H-1705). Allows the customer to use either EDTA or Sodium Citrate treated blood.
Dispette 2
Improved Dispette System with added safety and convenience features. Reservoirs are pre-filled with saline and have pierceable caps preventing spillage. Takes EDTA anti-coagulated blood.
Sed-Pac^®
Convenient Dispette System which includes 50 tests per box and transfer pipettes.
Micro-Sed^™
Ideal for pediatric patients or when blood volume is at a premium. Only 0.24 ml of blood required.
Winpette^™
This test is for the Wintrobe ESR method. Only 0.6 ml of blood is required.
Vacupette^™
This test keeps handling to a minimum. Pipettes are fitted with a unique blood displacement collection tube adaptor, allowing test to be run directly from citrated vacuum blood collection tubes, such as BD or Terumo.
