SCIL LAUNCHES SPOTCHEM® EL ELECTROLYTE ANALYZER
The Spotchem® EL Analyzes Sodium, Chloride and Potassium in Just 60 Seconds!
Chicago, Illinois, August 17, 2011 — scil animal care company, inc., a global organization focused on providing high quality veterinary medical equipment is proud to announce the addition of the Spotchem® EL, a small electrolyte analyzer that delivers fast results in three easy steps.
The scil Spotchem® EL electrolyte analyzer gives a simultaneous 60 second analysis of sodium, chloride and potassium. The analyzer conveniently measures only 22 μL of whole blood, serum or plasma. It is specifically designed to diagnose emergency situations fast, easily and efficiently. Features of the new Spotchem® EL include a fast return on investment due to low-cost-per-test, and efficient staff training due to the analyzer’s easy-to-operate menu. The small whole blood sample size minimizes patient draw issues.
scil has been searching for an electrolyte analyzer since the launch of the scil Spotchem® EZ chemistry analyzer in late 2009. scil looked to ARKRAY, the manufacturers of the Spotchem® EZ, for help. ARKRAY also manufactures the Spotchem® EL, which complements the Spotchem® EZ. “We are very excited about our partnership with scil and the launch of the Spotchem® EL.
